We have just published the link to CQC website for the latest report for Crown Wood Medical Centre. Please see the latest news for the link.

Important Info: From 1 April 2015, patients at Crown Wood Medical Centre be able to self checkin when they arrive for their appointments. Patients also be able to complete the health questionnaire.

Crown Wood Medical Centre has installed a Visual Information System to provide the health information as well as patient call facility

Important Info: Access to online Patient Records is activated. This includes medication, allergies and immunisations. In order to access this information, patients have to logon to online services. If you have not already registered for online services such as online appointments and repeat prescriptions, please contact the surgery. For those patients who have already registered for online services, please come to the surgery with a photo id (passport or driving licence) to enable this service.

Nurses

Nurse Jennifer Schroeder (f)

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Ms Annie Mitchener (f)

Nursing Associate's role is to support the doctors and Nurse Practitioners and deliver hands-on, person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team

Healthcare Assistants

Julie Harrington (f)

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
